2024 Mazda MX-5 Receives Key Updates

Mazda is thrilled to unveil the pricing and details for the 2024 Mazda MX-5. This model year brings an exciting blend of enhancements that sharpen the MX-5's celebrated driving dynamics and refresh its design, both inside and out.

For 2024, the MX-5 showcases aesthetic refinements, including new exterior colors and wheel designs, alongside a refreshed interior equipped with a larger infotainment display and the integration of Alexa for enhanced connectivity and convenience.

The heart of the MX-5 remains its Skyactiv-G 2.0L four-cylinder engine, offering 181 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. The updates to the electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system and Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) further polish its handling, delivering a driving experience that's both exhilarating and intuitive.

Here’s a rundown of trims and starting prices:

MX-5 GS

Starting at $34,900, the MX-5 GS comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission and a black cloth soft top. It includes advanced features like Mazda Radar Cruise Control and Smart City Brake Support. Inside, you'll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth bucket seats, and a new 8.8-inch display, ensuring comfort and connectivity. The exterior boasts metallic black 17-inch wheels and LED lighting.

MX-5 GS-P

Priced at $38,900 for the soft top and $41,900 for the RF, the MX-5 GS-P elevates the driving experience with Bilstein dampers and a new Asymmetric limited-slip differential for improved cornering precision. The GS-P also introduces DSC-Track, a feature designed for track use, which balances dynamic stability control with driver skill enhancement. This trim adds a noise-isolating windshield, heated mirrors, and an upgraded interior with black suede accents and a nine-speaker Bose audio system.

MX-5 GS-P with Sport Package (Manual Transmission Only)

For those seeking heightened performance, the MX-5 GS-P with Sport Package, priced at $43,300 for the soft top and $46,300 for the RF, delivers. It includes Brembo front brakes, BBS forged wheels, and heated Recaro sport seats.

MX-5 GT

The MX-5 GT, starting at $42,000 for both the soft top and RF versions, marries performance with luxury. It adds Adaptive Front-lighting, Traffic Sign Recognition, and upgrades like wireless connectivity and a Mazda Navigation system. The GT variant redefines comfort with heated leather seats and automatic climate control.

MX-5 RF GT with Grand Sport Package (Manual Transmission Only)

At the pinnacle of the lineup is the MX-5 RF GT with Grand Sport Package, available for $48,600. It offers tan Nappa leather seats, a contrasting black roof, and all the features of the GT trim.

The 2024 Mazda MX-5 continues its legacy as a driver's car, now with a more refined edge.
