Comparing the 2024 Mazda CX-90, Lexus RX, and Infiniti QX60

Are you in the market for a luxurious midsize SUV that offers exceptional space, performance, and value? Look no further than the 2024 Mazda CX-90. You really should as in the following story, we'll take a thorough look at the CX-90 and compare it to two would-be premium competitors in the Lexus RX and the Infiniti QX60. We'll see how the CX-90 measures up in terms of luxury, space, performance, and value. You might be surprised.

Luxury:

When it comes to luxury, the new Mazda CX-90 dominates its competitors with its sleek, modern design. The interior is equally impressive, with incredibly high-quality materials used throughout the cabin, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The Lexus RX and Infiniti QX60 are also stylish, but they don't quite compare to the CX-90 in terms of overall presentation and perceivable luxury.

Space:

The 2024 CX-90 is designed to provide plenty of space for both passengers and cargo. You'll find over 420 litres of cargo space behind the third row of seats, and that increases to a commendable 1,133 litres with the third-row seats folded down. If you need to transport large items, you can fold down the second-row seats to create a cavernous 2,101 litres of space. The big advantage here when carrying family and friends is that the third row is easily accessible and comfortable even for average-sized adults something the QX60 can’t hope to match.

Performance:

The CX-90 is equipped with a standard turbocharged e-Skyactiv G 6-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid technology that produces 280 horsepower. However, if you want more power, you can upgrade to the GT-P version with up to 340 horsepower. Finally, there’s even a plug-in hybrid version that provides up to 323 horsepower and 42 km of petrol-free motoring. Either way, the CX-90 offers an enjoyable driving experience, with responsive handling and smooth acceleration. The Lexus RX and Infiniti QX60 are also enjoyable to drive, but they don't match the CX-90 in terms of performance or efficiency.

Value:

The new Mazda CX-90 offers excellent value for the money, with its starting price of around $46,000. Even at the base level, the CX-90 comes with a lot of features, including a 10.25-inch touch screen, blind-spot monitoring, and an unlimited mileage warranty (three years, conditions apply). The Lexus RX and Infiniti QX60 are more expensive, with pricing that is at least $10,000 greater than the CX-90.

If you're in the market for a mid-sized SUV that offers luxury, space, performance, and value, then the 2024 Mazda CX-90 is the way to go. With its sleek design, impressive cargo capacity, and excellent driving dynamics, the CX-90 is sure to provide you with the luxury experience you're looking for. So why not test-drive one today?

How the 2026 Mazda CX-5's Larger Cargo Area Handles Weekend Errands and Getaways from Burnaby

The all-new 2026 Mazda CX-5 is a full third-generation redesign, and one of the most practical changes is how much more cargo space it now offers. The previous model was a strong seller in British Columbia — over 300,000 CX-5s have been sold across Canada since 2012 — but tight rear cargo dimensions were a consistent point of feedback from owners. Mazda addressed that directly with the 2026...
