Mazda vehicles impress on the IIHS best vehicles for teens list

The IIHS or Insurance Institute for Highway safety is the leading organization in North America when it comes to determining vehicle safety. Now, the IIHS has teamed up with Consumer Reports to bring us an extensive list of the best used and new vehicles for teenagers. Mazda vehicles feature prominently on this list.

In order to compile their ranking, the IIHS and Consumer Reports combined their data to create a list of the vehicles that offer the highest safety rating along with the best reliability scores. Given that the safety of a given vehicle and its reliability are two important criteria for parents looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle for their teenager, this list is telling and certainly relevant.

We are sure most parents would agree. And if you are looking for a vehicle for your team that offers both safety and reliability, the following Mazda vehicles were highlighted by the IIHS.

Used Mazda3 sedan or hatchback - 2014 to now

Used Mazda6 – 2014 to 2019

Used Mazda CX-3 - 2019

In the new vehicle category, the Mazda3 sedan and hatchback are once again considered the best vehicle in their class for teenagers. In the SUV segments, the Mazda CX-30 as well as the Mazda CX-5 and the Mazda CX-9 all made the list. Give us a call today to learn more about the impressive reliability and dependability of Mazda vehicles that make them perfect for teens!
