Mazda3 Wins AJAC Best Small Car Award for 2020

The redesigned Mazda3 was named Best Small Car in Canada for 2020 by the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada. The Mazda3 outshined its closest competition to take home the important award which now opens the door to the 2020 Canadian Car of the Year award which will be handed out next month.

"Mazda extends its winning record in the Canadian Car of the Year awards by claiming the trophy for Best Small Car in Canada for 2020," said Stephanie Wallcraft, President of AJAC. "AJAC members represent the largest collective of automotive journalist expertise in the country, and their rigorous testing takes place on the roads and weather conditions found from coast to coast. For the Mazda3 to emerge as a winner after our members' months of objective assessment is a true achievement."

The Mazda3 has won its share of AJAC awards. The compact car has been named best in its segment five times with the latest win happening in 2018. The new 3 finished ahead of the Kia Forte and the Kia Soul, notably.

The Mazda3 was completely redesigned last year and introduced a host of new features including all-wheel drive. Learn more today at Metrotown Mazda!
