What Is G-Vectoring Control?

Mazda has introduced a wide range of technologies over the years, all designed to make their vehicles more fun to drive, efficient, safe, or a combination of all three. Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control (GVC) system is the perfect example of this. First introduced on the Mazda3 and now available on the 2019 Mazda CX-5, GVC may just be what you need!

G-Vectoring Control Explained

G-Vectoring is an innovative system that you won’t find elsewhere. It uses the engine’s torque to modulate power to the rear wheels and to stabilize the vehicle. Essentially, GVC is designed to reduce body movements in the city, thus creating a better experience for both driver and passengers.

GVC can also make driving on the highway much more comfortable by stabilizing the vehicle. You’ll immediately notice that you don’t have to make as many corrections to the steering wheel when a Mazda vehicle has been equipped with G-Vectoring Control.

The steering wheel remains stable and your vehicle remains pointed in the right direction. To learn more about G-Vectoring Control and Mazda’s new vehicle lineup, contact us today at Metrotown Mazda.

The previous model was a strong seller in British Columbia — over 300,000 CX-5s have been sold across Canada since 2012 — but tight rear cargo dimensions were a consistent point of feedback from owners.
